been warmly received. If anyone else would

The Vine Fellowship is a group of people on a mission to follow Jesus in Copley - learning to do what He said to do, to love as He loves, and to serve in the community as He served. When you are part of this group, you'll meet God, meet friends, and help make a difference in your community. Tell us what needs you see in Copley, and feel welcome to join us on this mission!
WHO WE ARE:
The Vine Fellowship is a group of people who want to know God, and grow with Him into people who are living examples of those who experience life to the fullest potential! We do this by growing in three particular areas:
1. Our relationship God (UP)
2. Our relationships with those close to us who also are growing, encouraging and challenging us (IN)
3. Our relationships in the world around us as we selflessly serve and share God's love (OUT)
WHERE DID WE COME FROM?
The Vine Fellowship is a congregation affiliated with the PCUSA denomination that came from Akron First Presbyterian Church on E. Market St. in Akron. After 180 years of ministry in that neighborhood, the church in 2009 decided to explore a relocation to the community of Copley, and in 2012 it established worship services and outreach in this community.
In September of 2012 The Vine Fellowship signed a lease on offices and small worship space at The HUB Community Center at 3676 Community Lane. Not only do we have offices there, but we also make that space available to serve the community in a number of ways: worship, family events, teen events, birthday parties, and exercise classes to name a few. Check it out at www.theHUBCopley.com!
We believe strongly in the authority of the Bible, in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and that we need an ever growing relationship with God to become disciples of Christ. Being a disciple means learning about Him, how He lived, and what He taught. Most importantly we need to be disciples by living out Jesus' instructions to "love Him with all of our heart and soul and mind and to love our neighbors as ourselves." That results in abundant grace, a lot of forgiveness, and meeting people's needs. We invite you to come check us out, and see what God is doing!
