To: the Congregation of The Vine Fellowship
It has been several weeks now since I last saw you in worship. I can’t believe how busy I’ve been and how quickly the time has gone by. With a new position comes a significant increase in time spent learning the ropes, getting organized, learning names, and planning the next day. It has been an exciting time and yet I have had the time to reflect (usually while driving around) on the impact your friendship has had on me, and how much I miss you all.
Janice and I want to thank each and every one of you for the lovely and touching “sendoff” you gave us last month. The gift you so generously gave came as quite a shock. I hadn’t expected anything, so when we got home that afternoon and had a chance to look at the enclosed check that came with the card we were both speechless. Words cannot express the depth of gratitude for your thoughtfulness and kindness. Please know that you will always have a special place in our hearts.
I may be at another church but I still consider myself to be a part of the Vine Fellowship. If there is anything I can do to help anyone, don’t hesitate to call. And if you are ever in the vicinity of First Christian Church-Stow, stop by and say hello.
May God bless you in all of your endeavors.
In Christ’s love,
